Scripture
School of Ministry uses the Holy Bible as its textbook. Each year, students are encouraged to practice understanding, receiving and applying Scripture to daily life. One way we approach this is by having SOM Faculty provide Scripture passages related to their topic for students to study in preparation for class.

Subjects
This Track combines a classroom setting along with experiential exercises within the context of a learning community. These exercises provide opportunity for studnts to effectively learn and understand the topic through the action of practice.

Some class topics and teachers

  • Prophetic 101: Fred Thoni
  • Emotional Health & Anointing: Robert Walter
  • How to Process Prophetic Words: Paul Anderson
  • Prophecy and the Ministry of Healing: Lee Grady
  • Prophetic Team Ministry: Eric Bluhm
  • Hearing, Discerning and Testing Prophecy: Dawn Lundgren
  • Being a Safe Place for the Prophetic: Mike Bradley
  • and more…

Homework
Students will be expected to complete pre-class and post-class assignments as they are assigned. These assignments will be a variety of learning experiences designed to enhance the understanding of the topic. They may include things like… practicing your listening skills, sharing your testimony with your local congregation, journaling, writing a paper, developing a short teaching, completing tasks in small groups, and more.
