Rev. Tom Brashears
Rev. Tom Brashears has been an ordained Lutheran pastor for 26 years and has been a church janitor, youth worker, church staff member, assistant pastor, mission developer, senior pastor, and has worked with numerous employees and volunteers throughout his ministry. His educational background includes undergraduate degree from Arizona State University, Seminary at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, California, and a Master’s of Science in Organization Development from Pepperdine University. His continued education has been at NTL in Bethel, Maine, Stanford Business School, and USC. His passion is to help people in ministry acquire the skills for a life of service to Christ that are beyond theology and Biblical studies (the fun stuff). Says he, “The actual work of management in a church is shocking to most of us who just want to share Jesus and spread the Gospel. But, once some basics steps are mastered, people are able to spend less time on the harder parts (management) and more time on what they love.”
