Joe Johnson served as senior minister of Grace Lutheran Church in Show Low, Arizona from 1978- 2003.  In July of 2003 he joined the pastoral staff of Grace Lutheran Church in Huntington Beach, California as pastor of care and prayer.   Joe received his Master of Divinity from Luther Seminary, St. Paul, Minnesota.  Joe and Judy lived in Oslo, Norway, from 1968-70 where Joe did his seminary internship at the American Lutheran Church in Oslo.    Fuller Seminary, Pasadena, California awarded Joe a Doctor of Ministry in 1991.  His dissertation was “Doing Jesus’ Ministry”.
