Thanks to everyone who has been praying for our trip to Thailand! Just wanted to take the chance to send out a brief update about how we are doing and our prayer requests.

We have been working the last week and a half with a ministry in bangkok called the MST project. This ministry does outreach to men who go to red light areas in Thailand. It focuses on the men there because they believe they are often overlooked when it comes to hearing the gospel. Most of the men come for sexual services out of pain, brokeness and pride. They need to know the healing power of God's love as much as the woman yet there is little to no chance of them hearing about it. That is why MST was started!

So this is what we do each night for outreach. We start with prayer and worship about the night. Then we break into small groups and talk about where we are personally at and what we need prayer for that night. Then we travel to one of the red light areas and split into a prayer group and two survey groups. The prayer group prayer for the outreach team and the men we meet during the night. The outreach groups start conversations with men by asking them to take a survey about why they are there and their views on prostitution. We stay out for about 3 hours with the hope of starting deep spiritual conversations! Then we debrief about the night and the men we met. We right down info about our conversations on prayer cards so we can pray fr them throughout the week.

It has been amazing to see God work through this outreach! We have had wonderful conversations with men and even had one man accept the Lord!

Your prayers have beesn so felt and neede here. We have less than a week left here so please keep praying! This week we will do our last outreach on thursday and then the rest of the days we will be sightseeing and visting ministries that work with woman in prostitution.

Hey there, It's been a while since you've heard from us. 　We've been on a two month break for the holidays. Tomorrow, that break ends as we leave for a time of serving in Hawaii and Thailand.  We will be partnering with organizations working against the dark reality of prostitution and sex-traffickingin Bangkok. Please pray for us as we go in the hope, restoration and justice of Jesus.

We'll write more in the following days, but for now, please keep us in your prayers as you think of us. Also, check our blog frequently for the most up-to-date news from us. The blog is actually easier to update than e-mail for us.

In two days, Alexandria and I will be putting on a benefit concert with The Awaken Tour. We're teaming up with a non-profit organization called PASS (Pacific people Against Sex Slavery) in Maui. At this benefit, we'll play an integral part in signing a petition to changing Hawaii's current sex trafficking laws. Currently, sex trafficking is only a misdemeanor on the islands, with enough signatures, the petition will help make sex trafficking a felony. This benefit will also help raise support for PASS and for our Awaken team as we travel to Thailand to minister alongside an organization called MST project (Male Sex Tourism Project). Our team, with the aid of the MST project, will be journeying into the red light districts of Bangkok to speak with male sex tourists. We'll also be coming alongside some other organizations in bringing comfort to women who have been caught in Bangkok's sex trade.
