“The Master's Institute began out of a dream. People dreamed of a place where personal mentoring and leadership training could be combined effectively with solid academic work.”  So wrote MI Visionary, Paul Anderson.  Now that dream has become a reality and today 45 alumni from The Master’s Institute Seminary and over 160 School of Ministry graduates are continuing the ministry of Jesus in a number of different church networks  and marketplace ministry positions. 

The three fold philosophy of training at MI is working.  Spiritual and character formation, biblical teaching, and leadership training are equipping, not just educating our graduates.  MI is a school which embraces what author J.P. Moreland calls the Kingdom Triangle - a recovery of knowledge, renovation of the heart, and a restoration of the miraculous power of God.  Our hope is for our students to have godly character and wholeness so they can live righteously, to know the Scriptures in a way that they can think biblically, and have ministry skills so they can lead effectively.

I am blessed to be serving at a seminary and school such as The Master’s Institute.  A leadership training center where students, staff and the board of directors all view themselves as lovers of God who lead, not merely leaders.   A leadership training center that is imparting values that will serve graduates well in life and ministry:  Jesus is Lord, the Bible is God’s Word, live with a radical dependence upon the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit and the grace of God, and carry out the Great Commission in the spirit of the Great Commandment.

This is The Master’s Institute.  Welcome to the dream!  Welcome to the reality!
