The thesis of the course is that the worldview 100318-God-Evil-Spirit-web
of the Bible is a "warfare worldview," in which God's will is set against the wills of spiritual and human agents that oppose him, rather than a "blueprint worldview," in which everything that happens – including all evil – is understood to be the direct or indirect result of God's will.

The Kingdom of God

This class is a biblical overview of the Kingdom of God with a specific focus on its coming in Christ and how that affects how we do ministry today.  The objective is to develop a philosophy for living in the tension of the “now” and the “not yet” of the Kingdom of God.

How to Register and Pay for a Class

Choose a class/seminar from the Class Schedule.

Register by mail:

  • Fill out the Audit Registration Form or the For Credit Registration Form.
  • Obtain a written Recommendation Form from a pastor or church leader and have it sent directly to MI. (only need once)
  • Return the registration form along with your payment of $60 or $275 to The Master’s Institute.
  • You will be sent a confirmation by email which will include the class hours and a syllabus of the class.

Register on-line:

  • You will be sent a confirmation by email which will include the class hours and a syllabus of the class.

Class Audio:

  • If you have attended a seminar and wish to order the set of the CD's for $20, then please fill out the CD Request Form and send it with a check to The Master's Institute.
   

Notes about Auditing a Class

Seminary classes are open to pastors, ministry leaders, church staff, lay leaders. These are graduate level classes that meet the criteria for pastoral continuing education.

Audit Details for MI Seminary, St. Paul, MN:

  • The fee is $60 for each two-day seminar. Payment is due with the registration request ten days before the class. Each Thursday & Friday is considered one class.
  • The fee to take a class for MI Seminary credit is $275 per class per week.
  • Classes are open to pastors, ministry leaders, church staff, lay leaders and individuals who obtain a written recommendation from a pastor or church leader. The recommendation from pastors or church leaders may be sent directly to MI. (only needed once)
  • Auditors are required to sign in before class begins.
  • Classes are held on Thursday and Friday from 8:00 am til Noon at North Heights Lutheran Church, the Roseville campus, downstairs in the Garden Room.  Lunch is not included.
  • Refunds will not be given after the start of the seminar.
  • An Auditor may attend a maximum of four seminars per school year (Sept. to May).
  • Auditors may request by email and receive a certificate of completion from the MI office.
  • Seminary students are required to read the assigned reading from the syllabus before class. While it would be beneficial for Auditors to do the reading, it is not required.
